Officially Cold

I guess you could consider this to be officially cold-not as cold as it has been lately and it'll probably get even colder before the winter is over-but pretty cold nonetheless. When it gets below the American zero it begins to be uncomfortable to take a morning piss off the back porch. The wood-pile is being consumed at a bit of an alarming rate also. Global Warming seems to be on hold for January in Canada. The dogs don't even want to stay outside, and the cat hasn't been out of the house since before Christmas. I don't know how a small bird like a chickadee can make a living here all winter. Richard calls this "snot-freezing weather".

Vacation

I used to think that it was tiring to be in a band and be up all night playing music and dealing with the groupies.
But now I have officially changed my definition of being tired after getting puked on by my 20 month old daughter for 2 days and 2 nights and sitting in a hospital for 6 hours in the middle of the night.
